Hyundai Hotel Mokpo

I stayed for 57 days, and the breakfast barely changed from day to day: the same flavorless tilapia, bacon, and other items. That doesn’t feel like a four-star hotel. The room was tidy, but old and quite damaged, and needs renovation. The main positives were being near Samho Ship Yard and having a balcony view.

Tommy Bae at the front desk made a strong impression on me. He was warm, attentive, and professional, and helped with all my questions and requests. I’m grateful for how welcome he made me feel. The hotel was clean and well maintained, with a beautiful view from the room. It’s easy to reach from the city center while still feeling peaceful. My only small suggestion is to add caffè latte to the coffee machine options. I had a fantastic stay and would come back.

The sea view was amazing, though the room itself was just an ordinary hotel room, nothing fancy. I wasn’t keen on the buffet because the choices were very limited. We had a good stay if all you need is a place to sleep and shower.

The view from the hotel is beautiful, and from the restaurant side you can see part of the Hyundai factory and watch the ships. I stayed one night. The staff were nice and everything was good overall. The rooms are large and fairly clean, but the bathroom looks old, and there were several spots on the walls and door that needed cleaning.
