We stayed at Sono Calm, one of several hotels there, and it connects to the ski mountain through a basement. The basement has shops, an arcade, and a food court that opens at 10am. In the Vivaldi Park building there’s another food court, open from 8:30am for breakfast, with dinner last orders at 6pm, plus Burger King, Starbucks, and other places to eat. The food court in front of the ski resort serves pretty decent Korean breakfast. You can pick up your own sides, so please don’t waste food. I recommend the Korean Ox Bone soup and Beef seaweed soup. The service crew were friendly and spoke English. There’s also a pet hotel.

There were too many people and not enough room. We waited 50 minutes for the beginners’ moving lift, with no real queue system, just everyone pushing in. The lift to the bigger slope was just as busy.

Vivaldi resort as a whole was great, and I’d come up every week if I could. It’s only about an hour and a half by car from Seoul. The dog-designated part of the resort is what I mean when I say rooms get overpriced on holidays, so I’d recommend coming in the off-season. I haven’t visited in winter yet, and I still need to come back in spring or summer for the water park.

We were very happy with the whole arrangement and would stay here again. The resort equipment was good, and the snow trails felt safe and fun. There were good entertainment options too. Thanks for inviting us to the Dinner - (24/25 VIVA WINTER FESTIVAL). We were surprised and honored by how the meeting was arranged, and I’m very grateful to the staff that night. The hotel manager, event MC, and performers were all excellent. Everyone had a great night.

A dream of a ski park and snow land for every age. We easily spent the whole day there without realizing how quickly the time went.
