Areumdaun Resort

We had a sea view from the room and could see Udo island from the balcony. The room was clean and comfortable, with a little kitchen for simple cooking, though grilling and seafood weren't allowed. The location is pretty remote, but there's a convenience store just a one-minute walk away.

The room was spacious, comfortable to move around in, and had a fully equipped kitchen. Staff were nice, though their English wasn't very good. The hotel is well placed for visiting spots on Jeju Island's eastern coast, but getting around without a car is complicated. The bus system is confusing, and I often ended up taking taxis. Good value for the price.

The rooms are neat and clean, the price is nice, and the view is cool. But there’s no pool, even though the hotel next door has one right beside it, which can make you jealous of their guests. Cooking pork or beef in the indoor kitchen doesn't work since there’s no ventilation. You can cook outside, but it costs about 20k won extra, and there are lots of wild bugs and flies lol. I think the hotel needs some renovation. If you’re just looking for a very cheap place to stay, I’d recommend it.

This is a small hotel, not a resort. It didn't even show up in my rental car's navigator. They speak only Korean, and for stays under four nights they don't clean the room or make the beds.
