We had milk bread, butter, and homemade jeju mandarin marmalade waiting in the fridge, which was a nice touch. The downside was that breakfast is no longer offered, and the AC in one of our rooms didn't work very well. Still, my family and I had a good four-day stay.

My wife and I arrived to check in without knowing what had happened, and the owners, who were super friendly, told us there had been a fire five days earlier. The pension was not operating at the time, and even their computer had been lost in the fire. It wasn't the owners' fault that no cancellation notice reached us. If you're reading this much later, call ahead to find out whether they've rebuilt.

We had an easy, comfortable stay, and the whole family slept well on the comfortable bed and linens. The room and bedding were very clean, and even the kitchen appliances, like the toaster, felt modern. The owner had bread and jam ready, so my second-grader and I could take our time over breakfast in the lovely room. I'd like to come back with my parents for at least two nights.
