The room had a view of Seongsan Ilchulbong, and everything else was great too: friendly hospitality, good service, clean sheets, room, and toilet, a pleasant smell, and a good location. There's a coin washer and dryer in the basement and an unmanned CU mart, which was pretty cool. Right across from the main entrance is the Goseong every 5 days market. It opens on the 4th, 9th, 14th, 19th, 24th, and 29th, so you can visit if your timing works out. Gwangchigi beach is a three-minute drive for sunset views of Seongsan Ilchulbong, and it's six minutes to Seongsan Ilchulbong for a short hike and to watch the Haenyeo women sea divers. Would recommend.

The service here felt like it didn't exist. Staff weren't polite and didn't seem to care about guests. There were three of us but we got only one room card. The room was old, with mold in the bathroom and toilet doors that wouldn't close. The glass and mirrors were dirty, so there was no nice view to enjoy. It was an unpleasant stay I wouldn't repeat for any amount of money. I'd rather pay a little more to relax and enjoy the island. The owners seem not to care about their guests.

We had a very nice stay. Our large, clean room had a great view of the bay and the volcano we wanted to be near. The beach is within walking distance, and there are lots of good places to eat close by. Staff were friendly and helpful, suggesting restaurants we tried and enjoyed. Because of Covid, the hotel wasn't offering breakfast or pool services, but apart from that we had a great experience.

The room was tidy and quite big, with a fabulous ocean view. The price was reasonable, and there were enough parking spaces. Reception was kind, and I strongly recommend the place. Breakfast and swimming pool services aren't available at the moment, but staff can show you a list of well-known local restaurants nearby.

I can't recommend it unless you're on a budget and want a larger room. The building looks very run down, with cheap construction. The shower and sink had so many water stains that I don't think they were cleaned properly, and the location isn't ideal.
