Casaloma Hotel

The rooms are really spacious, the location is very convenient, and the staff were extremely helpful. There are loads of facilities for kids, so it’s especially good for families. My only real complaint is that it was too hot in winter. Cranking the heater all the way up instead of keeping things comfortable seems common everywhere in Korea. Highly recommend the hotel otherwise.

The room was clean and spacious, and the bus stop is less than a minute away, which made getting around easy. Ms Choi and Ms Boo gave us great service and helpful tips on where to find authentic, tasty local food.

My girlfriend and I stayed for five days and had a really good time. The room was large and nice, with a lovely view of the sea and green space. I enjoyed looking out at the landscape. It was close to everything, and the staff were kind and helpful. One staff member spoke good English, which made it easy to get help. The breakfast was okay, but it wasn’t food I’m used to, so I only ate it once. The pool was warm, which was nice, but small and just one metre deep. The gym was small too. Its heaviest dumbbells were only 14 kg, so I couldn’t train properly, though there was a useful chest machine. The arcade wasn’t good, with most things broken, but we hadn’t known about it beforehand and didn’t mind. Good price, and I’d recommend staying here.

The place smelled awful throughout, including the lobby, and it made it hard to feel comfortable anywhere. They didn’t provide basics like a toothbrush, which was shocking. The pool closes sharply at 9 pm, and the area is locked so you can’t sit and enjoy the atmosphere. The lobby isn’t a pleasant alternative with that smell. From before check-in onward, the staff were rude and unhelpful. They had no answers to our questions and kept treating us badly. We had a lot of luggage, and nobody offered to help. I know it’s a 3-star hotel, but basic courtesy should still be expected. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. Don’t waste your money here, it could ruin your trip.
