Cornerstone Hotel

The family suite was clean, with two very spacious rooms, a beautiful bathtub, and a separate shower area. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Olle Night Market is only about a five to ten minute walk away, and it seemed like most of the activities were around there. In the morning, they provide free eggs and toast on the second floor, along with coffee, hot water, and a microwave. There's also a convenience store next door for things like gimbap or noodles.

This was my second stay, and I still love the breakfast, washing machine, and fast Wi-Fi. One downside is a dog that apparently lives right next to the hotel and barks loudly for a long time. If you need to work in your room, I'd suggest finding a nearby cafe.

The rooms were clean and very nice for a reasonable price, with a modern interior and a good view. You can see part of the sea and the little island. Staff were always available and helpful.

The free breakfast supplies are simple: toasted bread, strawberry jam, white rice, soy sauce, and sliced cheddar. There's a common kitchen and pantry for preparing your own food, plus a CU convenience store nearby if you need anything else. The common kitchen and dining room are useful for relaxing, working, or chatting with other guests. Staff also showed us how to use the free washer and dryer and cooking equipment. Cornerstone Hotel is in central Seogwipo, about a 70-minute drive from Jeju International Airport. It's a one-star budget motel suited to a short stopover in the south of the island, and most guests seem to stay one or two nights. The place is clean and functional, though cozy to the point of feeling cramped, with limited city views. Students on holiday stay here for the low prices. There's a rooftop terrace with a particularly lovely sunset view. The room setup was frustrating. The outlet arrangement made some sockets unusable, and strong daytime sun made the room very warm. The bed was fine for one person, less comfortable for a couple. Cable TV, Wi-Fi, a mini fridge, and the bathroom were all basic but functional. We put up with it because our stay was short. Service takes effort from a single person at the counter, who handles check-in and check-out, requests, valet parking, waste disposal, and security. Thankfully, cleaning is handled by a team. There's free self-service laundry, and the ground-floor parking area is guarded by a fierce dog on a leash. It's decent for a day or two, but I really disliked the room's power outlet layout.
