GoldOne Hotel & Suites

We stayed at Jeju GoldOne in May and June 2026 and had a great time. The balcony was clean and a lovely place to sit with snacks and drinks. The staff were friendly, and Charles Yim was a superstar. When we called for help reaching our car rental company, whose service number was only in Korean, he helped us out.

Inside, the hotel feels quite opulent and has an old-world charm, which is a surprise from the outside. The service was really great, with everyone very helpful. Our family of four had a two-bedroom suite that suited us perfectly. There's a large heated pool and a modest gym, plus a free laundry room that came in handy for washing clothes during our travels.

The entertainment room was a small plus: there’s a pool table, though its cues are in rough shape, plus a Switch and table tennis. A young woman with curly hair was especially welcoming and spoke English very well. The stay itself was a letdown. I booked ten nights and found dirty cups more than once, including replacements with yellow stains, and housekeeping left a used towel on the table. The toilet seat was cracked, too. Heating and AC aren’t controlled separately by room, and staff told us to open the balcony doors, even though the rooms face the pool. After ten nights, I had to bargain at the front desk just to get a one-hour late checkout. The hotel has a sign outside calling it four stars, though Google shows five. For similar or slightly lower prices, I’d choose the Marriott in the Shinhwa area, which has a premium outlet and mall attached. With so many options, I wouldn’t come back.

The scenery around GoldOne Hotel Jeju is lovely, and the spacious rooms make it easy to slow down and relax. Everything felt calm, with a thoughtful, modern design and a refined atmosphere. A really lovely place to enjoy Jeju at an unhurried pace 🤍
