There are plenty of great sites nearby, and it was easy to order taxis. The Olle market and lots of good cafes and food options are close as well. The location was excellent and the facilities were spacious. I did notice the smell others mentioned, either smoke in a non-smoking room or just an old-carpet smell.

The location worked well for a quick night, with lots to do nearby. But the room was uncomfortable after dark. The carpet was old and stained, and the air conditioning didn’t work. Even with cool weather outside, it stayed stuffy and warm. We were told to sleep with the balcony door open. It was a bad stay for us.

The staff were friendly, and the central location made it easy to explore the island. Free parking was a real plus. Although we’d heard spaces could fill up, we had no trouble finding one. Our room was in a lower-floor room and was much too warm for sleeping, around 23.8 degrees, since there’s no air conditioning in winter. Opening the door helped a little, but brought in street noise. People smoking outside the building also disturbed us. The air conditioner unit made a lot of noise even when switched off, so I told reception. The rooms are generally good, though some areas need maintenance. I’d give the hotel three stars.

The room was fine and the location is good, but I can’t recommend the place. Parking is advertised, yet the spaces are so limited that the whole car park was blocked off. With valet parking, they drive your car around the city and leave it in a free public lot, which you then have to locate on a map the next day. You get two bottles of water in the room. If you need more, they tell you to buy it at the convenience store. The rooftop jacuzzi also costs extra.
