Hotel The Grang Seogwipo

The buffet was tasty and a good deal at 10k won, and the staff were attentive. The room was spacious and comfortable, too. The location worked well, with convenience stores close by, a supermarket behind the hotel, and the traditional market about a five-minute walk away. The carpark felt safe and secure.

Our thanks to Becky and Bruce at the front desk for being so friendly, patient, and helpful. The valet staff were attentive with our rental car, and housekeeping worked quickly. Room x02 was plain but clean and roomy, with both aircon and floor heating. Wifi was fast, and the shower had strong pressure. The bathroom floor can get slippery when wet, but slippers are provided. A good base for a visit to Jeju Island.

The laundry room has extra large washers and dryers, and manager Jay helped us get a load started. Everyone we met was cheerful and pleasant, greeting us whenever they saw us. We had a hire car, and valet parking was fantastic. Whenever we came down to reception, someone asked if we wanted the car. Our room was clean and spacious. We'd book here again if we get back to Seogwipo.

The service was really lacking. Our toilet was a bit clogged, and instead of coming to check it, they just told us where the plunger was so we could deal with it ourselves. The room also smelled moldy. The location and price were good, though.
