Aria Hotel Jeju

The front desk at Aria Hotel in Jungmun, Jeju was friendly and professional, and the stay felt cozy and clean. The TV and furniture are a bit old-fashioned, but I liked the overall feel. It's well located for local food, including Jeju black pork BBQ and seafood soup. NH Hanaro Mart is a better choice than the grocery store nearby, unless you need something in an emergency.

The room had an amazing view, and the location was great. The concierge staff were lovely, especially Eden, who was absolutely amazing. This is easily one of the best hotels I've stayed in, and I'd choose it first if I ever attend a conference at the ICC Centre.

I enjoyed my stay, and was pleasantly surprised that all the receptionists could communicate well in English. The room was spacious, and nearby restaurants were easy to walk to. Cheonjeyoun waterfalls, the teddy bear museum, and alive museum are also within walking distance. There weren't any toiletries like a toothbrush or toothpaste in the room.

Friendly service and a good location, but this dated property was probably the most disappointing of the five hotels we stayed at in Jeju. I can't understand why other reviewers liked it so much. The pillow I had was squishy and smelled like greasy hair. The closet hanger rod should be lower since not everyone is six feet tall. Grab bars in the bathtub or shower would help prevent falls, and there should be hooks or a bar for wet towels.
