The dorm room was cozy and really warm even on a cold winter day, and the traditional Korean breakfast was a full one. I was surprised they included it at this price. It's a basic guest house with few amenities and an Asian style wet bathroom. The owners were kind and let me keep my bicycle inside. Sansong ilchulbong is only a five-minute bike ride away. There's not much common space, but for a night or two, it works perfectly.

I booked through Agoda and got there at 9:30pm, but the place was closed. Nobody answered my calls or Agoda messages. Maybe it's a good place at busier times, but be careful about booking here right now.

The host was very friendly, and we found it good value for the price. Breakfast was Korean food, plentiful, and different each day during our four-night stay. The room had comfortable underfloor heating. Outside it, there was a refrigerator, and in the shared area we could use a coffee dispenser and hot and cold water dispenser. I'd choose this place again on my next visit to Niusan.

We stayed with a foreign Olle hiker, and the Seongsan High School bus stop right next door made getting around easy. It's a little far from Seongsan Port, but a comfortable place to rest on a trip, with all the essentials despite being plain. Breakfast is supposed to start at 8:00 AM; the owner made it early and with care, which we really appreciated. I'd return.
