The bathroom smelled awful, and the room was freezing when I checked in. In the chilly late spring evenings, I had called twice beforehand to ask them to turn on the heating, but it was still cold. The refrigerator was broken, and there was no conditioner or body wash. There wasn't even a microwave or a paring knife, just a lack of the most basic things. I've never stayed somewhere like this. It's bewildering that such an experience is taking up an important part of my Jeju trip.

The house layout and bedding were fine, but the water pressure was weak and the boiler kept shutting off. The boiler really needs work for people traveling in winter.
