The staff were friendly, and the ocean-view room had a pleasing setting beyond the windows. The building and room were okay, though this didn't really feel like a boutique hotel. Breakfast was literally a toaster, sliced white bread, disposable jam packs in one flavor, and our pack butter.

I didn't take any room pictures, unfortunately. The room was tidy and cozy, with a nice interior and a good view. The building seems old, but it's been maintained and renovated well and looks very modern. There's a nice coastal walk around town. In the evening, guests can still use the cafe after business hours, relax, and check out the rooftop area.

The hotel's ocean view was beautiful even though a typhoon had hit when I visited. Breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean and comfortable. The rooftop might be one of its main appeals. I'd go back on my next trip.

The rooftop cafe was empty, with nobody working or serving anyone, and reception and service were practically nonexistent. The outside looks nice, but the rooms are average and the bathrooms feel a bit worn.
