Lasania Castle Resort

We stayed for over a week and appreciated the owner's and team's hospitality. When the owner saw that we were retirees with medical issues and couldn't manage the stairs to the second attic room, they arranged for us to move into a larger unit with all the rooms on the ground floor as soon as it became available two days later. That was considerate and accommodating. The property is quiet and peaceful, a good place to get away from city stress or spend time in nature. Our garden looked out over the sea and volcanic-rock shore, where we saw beautiful sunrises and visitors fishing for recreation. The bedrooms were spacious, with air-conditioning and heating, and the living room had a sofa set, table, and large TV. There was a kitchen with the needed cutlery, plates, cups, and other basics; a supermarket about 15 minutes away by car made it easy to buy groceries and cook. The premises and toilets were clean and well maintained, and the rooms had slippers, shampoo, conditioner, and foam bath gel. I recommend Turning Point Pension, Jeju for people wanting time away with their travelling companions.

The sea view from the window was stunning, and the guesthouse breakfast was healthy and delicious, brought directly by the owners. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and parking was easy with a lot on site. The rent was reasonable, too. The room was smaller than I'd expected, especially the attic, where my feet nearly touched the wall even though I'm under 160cm tall. That space is probably best for someone short like me. The pillows and comforters were very comfortable, and though the bathroom was small, the hot water was strong and hot enough. A small but lovely place to stay, highly recommended.

The view inside was picturesque, and the breakfast the owner brought was fantastic. I came to relax, and it turned out to be the perfect place to unwind. At first, the pension looked worn from the outside and I felt a little disappointed. But the friendly owner showed me to the guest room, and as soon as I opened the door, that feeling disappeared.

For what I paid, I was happy with the stay, even though a few parts looked dated. The owner was kind, and the view was amazing. I’d come back. Some of the reviews below seem pretty extreme to me. If you want better rooms and meals, you’ll need to spend more :)
