Longbeach Pension

It's awesome.

We stayed for two nights on a Friday-to-Sunday family trip, February 2nd to 4th, focusing on rest instead of sightseeing. We picked "Long Beach Pension" on a quiet beach in Namwon-eup, Jeju City after looking through Naver, Agoda, and Google Maps. We wanted to be close to the ocean, with a clear view and waves we could hear. We were very satisfied with the stay. The ocean view was fantastic. We slept with the window slightly open, and the waves lulled us to sleep and woke us at just the right time. We spent a lot of time at the accommodation rather than doing a lot of walking. The sound of waves and wind over the rainy sea, along with Jeju's beautiful scenery, felt truly healing for our family. Some reviews had made me apprehensive about the facilities being old, but they didn't seem that old. The aged wood smell in the log cabin actually felt more eco-friendly, which was a nice touch. Our daughter's AirPods fell somewhere near the bed during the stay. We realized they were missing just before boarding our flight at Jeju Airport. I called the pension owner and asked him to look while cleaning. A few days later he couriered them back, saying they were stuck in a crevice near the bed. I'd nearly given up on finding them, so I was very happy they were found so carefully. The sturdy packaging with bubble wrap impressed me too. I plan to stay again on my next Jeju trip, hopefully on a clear day instead of a rainy one. I'm sure the place will have a different charm in clear weather. Thanks for reading my rambling review.

The garden barbecue area has a nice atmosphere, and parking is convenient. It's near the beach, so the view is great.

The interior facilities are a little dated, which is a shame, though they seem well maintained. The sea view and exotic palm tree landscaping are lovely, and the garden looks fantastic. The night view is even better.
