The room was nice, but the staff were incompetent. We asked them to arrange an early morning taxi to the airport, but it never came and they left us to deal with it alone. Their English wasn’t good enough.

The sixth-floor penthouse had a spectacular view of the sea and mountains, plenty of space, and useful things for my child, including toys, a water dispenser, and a microwave. The problem was the breakfast policy. Food is served only from 8 to 9 am, and the kitchen closes right at 9. They make exceptions only if you plead hard enough. Based on my experience, this isn’t a kid-friendly place, and young families should know what they’re signing up for. On the first morning I missed breakfast by a few minutes, and had to plead loudly before staff let me take a sunny-side-up egg to the room. I’m an adult and can skip a meal, but it felt awful to have my toddler go without food. In the end, they let me bring just one fried egg up. The next morning my husband was trying to get our toddler dressed, which, as most parents know, isn’t easy or quick. At 8:36, I went down to ask if I could take some food upstairs for my child since we couldn’t make it down in time. This time, staff said everyone had to come down in person. My child had just pooped and my husband was showering them. Were we supposed to rush and stress just to feed our kid? We were on holiday. A staff member told me our holiday had nothing to do with them. Why run a hospitality business if making foreign visitors comfortable isn’t part of the goal? Are they interested only in the money, even if customers leave unhappy? Was my request really unreasonable as a mother? They serve the food to you, rather than having a buffet, so why worry about sending one or two fried eggs to the room? Were they afraid the green plate wouldn’t come back or would be stolen? If earning money matters more than being hospitable, they should consider doing something else if they can’t manage the simple idea of give and take. Maybe none of the staff are parents, since they couldn’t relate to what I was dealing with. Money wasn’t an issue; we could have gone out and bought food for our child. That wasn’t the main point of this awful encounter. It showed a clear lack of flexibility and compassion, and little effort to show they cared. I’ll remember this place as mercilessly strict and without charity, willing to make concessions only when someone shows enough desperation. I strongly suggest they extend breakfast until 10 or close the business. The green plate they cared so much about, far more than a child’s hunger and welfare, is at the front desk by their computer. Good day.

I had such a fun stay in the spacious penthouse, with all those entertaining toys, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. The food was iconic too, especially that bussing breakfast every morning in jeju. I still miss this place, even three years later, and want to come back 🤍🤍

The parking lot is spacious, and the facilities are great. The staff are very friendly. I wanted to stay longer, but there aren’t any vacant rooms, so I have to move.

There’s good natural light, a roomy interior, convenient parking, and an affordable price. Tourists coming to Seogwipo might consider staying here.
