The room fee is quite cheap, so don’t expect great service for that price, ha. There was no breakfast and no cafe, just a place to order drinks. The villa was large, with two cozy bedrooms, a small kitchen, and a nice heated main pool. But the private villa pool wasn’t free. One use of the hot water cost about as much as the room fee, which didn’t seem fair at all. There were lots of mosquitoes, no cleaning service, and we could hear everything from the villa next door, so it was pretty noisy at night. The location is a long way from the sights, and we had to drive a lot. The nearest beach wasn’t really a beach, and it had a lot of trash. There’s a nice grotto and Yeongmeori coast nearby.

The pool wasn’t operating when we stayed in April, which was too bad. The villa has three floors, with two bedrooms upstairs, plus one futon and one sofa bed. It was quiet, comfortable, and away from the crowds. You also get 20% off drinks at the cafe, and the coffee was great.

The room was nice, though a few parts were broken. The staff were friendly when I checked in at the cafe and explained the room. Having a washing machine and vacuum cleaner there was great, too.

The house is lovely, and it’s a handy base for visiting the attractions near Mt. Sanban. There’s also a famous black pork restaurant within walking distance. It’s a three-story pool villa: living room, bathroom, and outdoor barbecue area on the first floor; two bedrooms and a bathroom on the second; and an outdoor terrace on the third. Check-in is at the cozy cafe in the center. I highly recommend it!

The pension was clean and pleasant, and so were the washing machine and barbecue area on site. The pool was nice for swimming, too.
