Poong Gyung Hotel

The room had a nice view, the air conditioning worked really well, and there were enough bathroom amenities. Those were the only good parts. The room was filthy and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks or longer. There was no staff around to help with check-in, so I had to do it over the phone. The room key cards were left on the reception desk where anyone walking into the lobby could reach them. I really can't recommend this hotel.

I found this place on Priceline and, having a rental car, had no trouble getting around. The market was only a 3-5 minute drive away. I've stayed at about five properties in the area, and this is one of my favorites because it was quiet and parking was easy. The room was roomy, the beds were comfortable, and the hotel was almost too white. The weather wasn't great, so maybe there were fewer tourists. I paid so little that I almost felt bad and wanted to leave them extra money, lol.

The bed was really comfy and clean, and the hotel itself was nice and tidy. Breakfast was okay, and the staff were friendly, though some didn't speak much English. It's right by the park and waterfalls, and about 2 km from the harbour. I had everything I needed here and would definitely come back.

The room and bed were comfortable, but the hotel isn't very convenient if you want to be near the city. There was also a language barrier since the receptionist spoke only limited English. We booked a deluxe room, but he checked us into a double bed room instead.
