Sun & Moon Resort

We enjoyed our stay in Jeju, though I wouldn't really call this a resort. There is parking, and we liked being within walking distance of some restaurants. Laundry is about a five-minute walk away. Our third-floor room meant carrying luggage up the stairs since there's no lift, although reception offered to bring our bags up. The room was spacious, with clean heated floors and a small kitchen that had a stove, microwave, mini fridge, bowls, and plates. We used it to cook in the evenings. We also had a lovely sea view.

The lawns are lovely, with a swing, gazebo, and lots of places to sit, and the resort is right across from the ocean, so we woke to beautiful views every day. Our spacious room had a closet, four pairs of slippers, a large fridge, a separated dining area with a table and four chairs, a hotplate, microwave, kettle, utensils, and cutlery. Breakfast came to the room each morning. The trip from the International airport took nearly an hour by cab. The dresser mirror sat a bit low for taller guests, and there were too many cats around our tables, so please manage them.

The room was spacious, bright, nicely designed, and had everything we needed for a short stay. It was also quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful beachside view. We booked three days and two nights for just 208usd total, including breakfast and a room with a bath, so we didn't expect much, but arriving was a lovely surprise. It's a short walk from the bus station between Jeju and Seogwipo. What stood out most was how clean everything felt, from the bed and kitchen area to the floor and bathroom. Even with slippers provided, the floor looked spotless, and I couldn't find mold or water marks in the bathroom. The front staff were kind, patiently helped us in English, suggested places to visit, and replied quickly on Whatsapp when I asked about an early checkout. I've stayed in many hotels, including more expensive ones, but none has matched Sun&Moon's attention to detail so far. It made our trip better, and I'll recommend it to my parents for their next visit. Thanks so much!

This is a small, quiet hotel right by the beach, and our room looked out over the garden. It was spacious and clean, and the staff were so friendly and happy to help. Breakfast was delicious, served in the morning for us to enjoy on our terrace. Some cute local cats came by while we ate, and waking up to the garden, cats, and good food was lovely. It's listed as a 3 star hotel, but for me it felt worth 5 stars because of the setting, friendliness, and cosy atmosphere.
