The host was kind, and the location was good. Still, at the same price there are plenty of other hotels around Seongsan, so I don't think this stay was worth the cost. I can't make sense of the high ratings. The place felt dirty, and the hygiene was questionable. When I checked in, there was hair in the shower and the toilet seat was wet, which left me wondering whether the room had been properly cleaned after the previous guests. Every charging point had a thick layer of black dust. You also can't flush toilet paper here, something the pension should have explained in advance. Anyone concerned about personal hygiene should keep that in mind. The room was spacious but had nowhere to put your belongings, with no shelves. Its layout was odd too, with a questionable kitchen where the terrace should have been. People praise the breakfast, but I found it mediocre. I've had much better homemade local breakfasts at other B&Bs.

We had a car and found plenty of parking, with enough room to maneuver in and out. The guesthouse owner was friendly and helpful, and laundry came back very clean in under two hours for a reasonable price. Breakfast was a lovely extra, especially the Jeju tangerines and homemade bread. We stayed for three nights, and the room felt more like a mini apartment, a comfortable place to unwind after a day out. The views from the windows were epic. The location worked brilliantly for exploring Jeju's east and north coasts. The coastal path and the start of Seongsan Peak are just minutes away on foot, and the town has lots of restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. A quiet, relaxing place to stay on this side of the coast.

The people running the place were warm, and the room had a homey feel. It was clean and even had a few useful kitchen things, like scissors, bowls, and plates. I was unsure about staying at first, but ended up sleeping better than I had in a long time.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and they made the trip feel extra special. The room, bathroom, and facilities were all super clean, and breakfast was lovely. The location in Seongsan is perfect: Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff cone is about a 10-minute walk away, and Seongsan port, with boats to Udo Isaland, is easy to reach. I'd definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us ❤️
