The room was spacious and clean, and the price was low. It's also close to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak.

I booked at the last minute after finding the place in a hurry. It cost less than the big hotels and resorts nearby, and the rooms were roomy, though the facilities were a little dated. Still, everything was great. It's near Seongsan Main Intersection. One side had an ocean view, while the other looked toward Seongsan, which I liked better. Other stays around there were 15-20 dollars, but this was available for about 5 dollars. It was easy to walk to and from Seongsan, too. Everything was great. Then, 20,000 won.

Friendly owner and staff, plus the complimentary green tangerine tea was delicious. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the ocean view with the fresh open-air breeze was a nice extra. For backpackers, the location and low price work well. Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak is a five-minute walk, Seongsan Port and the boat to Udo Island are 15 minutes away, and restaurants, Hanaro Mart, and a well-connected bus stop are within 10 minutes. Some parts look old, but the room is functional and clean. A double room can even fit four single beds. At this low guesthouse price, don't expect five-star hotel cleanliness or room quality.

The room was in good condition, and the price made the stay feel worth it.
