A worker or owner saw my friend and me photographing a tangerine tree and kindly offered to cut one for us so we could take a picture with it. It was one of the sweetest interactions, and definitely a core memory for us!

It's okay as a base for exploring Jeju by car, but I can't recommend it as a resort. The hotel looks tired and needs refurbishment. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the shower extractor didn't work, the shower was chipped and rusty, the fridge was very loud, and noise from other guests came through easily. The swimming pool was tiny and had been emptied, so we couldn't use it.

The location is fairly remote, outside the city. It's a 15-minute walk to the nearest convenience store and the next closest restaurant, though thankfully there's a good steak and seafood restaurant right by the hotel. The ocean view from the room balcony is beautiful, and kids should love the outdoor pool.

We came with a big group to use the pool and BBQ area and were more than pleased. The property was extremely clean and in a wonderful location. There's a great little hike right across the street, and an easy walk from there takes you to a really good snorkeling spot.
