We didn't check the amenities before arriving, so a few things caught us by surprise. The front desk confirmed that face towels were the only towels provided, with no bath towels or floor mat. Without a mat, we had to be careful in the shower so water wouldn't spread into the toilet area. The pressure was great, almost too strong for that. At first we thought the air-conditioning was broken, but the front desk said it gets switched off in winter. We opened the sliding door for some “natural air-conditioning,” which worked and felt eco-friendly. With no aircon, we left the balcony door slightly open for ventilation, but around 6:30am we could hear vehicles and barking dogs. Quite a natural wake-up call. Some parts of the room and bathroom looked worn, though the bathroom tiles seemed fairly new or very well maintained. There were no coffee or tea sachets, but a 7-Eleven downstairs and vending machines nearby had snacks and caffeine. The bed was fine for me, but my husband woke up with a backache, and we found the pillows too soft. For the price, it's a decent option for a short stay. We had a nice Hallasan view from our room, even with buildings around it.

Don't stay here. The owners seem to cut every corner, and the suite doesn't live up to its name. The pool is closed even when it's 25 degrees.

The rooms were decent compared with Hotel Noblepia in Seowigpo, but ours faced the road and got noisy when young kids downstairs got drunk and made a lot of noise. As usual in Jeju Hotels, we got hand towels to dry off after showers, with no bath towels or other amenities. The pool was dead and not maintained at all. Probably the most interesting thing about the hotel is the 7-Eleven downstairs.

It's well placed for exploring the eastern end of the island, and the nearby crater gives you sunrise views in the morning. The rooms are adequate, but the pool is often dirty and costs extra per person each day. Its showers are out of action and seem to have been that way for quite a while. Underground parking is limited and first come, first served. I didn't eat at the restaurant, so can't comment on it.

The building was very new and clean enough, but the experience felt like they were trying to get every possible bit of money out of my pockets. The 10,000 extra charge for pool access is obscene, and in my opinion the breakfast buffet isn't worth its extra cost. The room had only the most basic amenities, not even lotion. Forgotten essentials like razors and toothbrushes weren't available at the front desk and had to be bought at the convenience store. I wouldn't recommend it.
