Tree House

I’m not sure how long they’ll keep this price, but it’s excellent value. I booked a small private room for myself at around 30,000 won a night, though I haven’t checked the rate per person. There are double beds on both the first and second floors, each with its own air conditioning. The only drawback is how remote it is.

It’s an average pension, and the entrance is quite narrow, so take care going in and out during peak season. There aren’t many amenities, such as a washing machine or slippers, and it smells like a sauna. Still, it’s quiet, the Wi-Fi is fast, and there are a few animals that my child loves. There are at least two beds, so it works well for three or more people. It’s also close to Oseollok and Gotjawal.

It’s a small detached pension, with a kitchen and lots of towels. It’s so remote there’s nothing to do after sunset, but it could be a lovely spot for a cozy stay.

Being tucked deep in the mountains makes it a little remote, but it’s so peaceful and quiet that you can really rest. All the accommodations are pretty, and waking up to birdsong is lovely.
