Y Resort Jeju

The price feels too high for the hotel’s condition and service, and you really need a car to stay here. It’s away from the island center, with a construction site nearby. For a 3 star hotel, I didn’t expect the same as a 4-5 star place, but Y resort could still be in better shape. The taps, mirrors, and PVC floor covering all need better maintenance, and the exterior and building need a complete renovation. Breakfast is very simple and could definitely be improved.

The pool area is lovely, and the view is spectacular. It’s a peaceful place, though the mornings can get noisy with kids at the pool and some music. Since all the rooms are near the pool, I don’t think there’s much avoiding that. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, which made the stay. Rooms are basic but comfortable and have what you need. Breakfast was simple but decent, even with my gluten intolerance. Full-size towels were a nice surprise, since those seem rare in Korea. Late checkout costs 10k per hour. The location isn’t great, and there’s not much around. They do have a small convenience store setup in the lobby for drinks and snacks, and it’s about a 15-20 minute walk into town.

The rooms were spacious and had beautiful views, and there was a drying rack for hand-washed clothes, which came in handy since there’s no laundry room. Breakfast each morning was solid too. We stayed for three nights in June, and it was comfortable, quiet, and very family-friendly. We really enjoyed our time here.

The rooms felt more like a cozy home than a hotel, with lots of space and kitchen amenities that made a longer stay convenient. Breakfast was lovely as well. Y Resort Jeju sits right on the coast, and the sea view from our room was breathtaking. Waking up to the ocean sounds and scenery was unforgettable. It was quiet and never felt crowded, so it was easy to unwind and tune out the bustle. We also found a little beach tucked behind the resort. It felt like our own private spot, lovely for a quiet walk or just taking in the view. With the spacious rooms and thoughtful touches, the stay exceeded my expectations.
