Seongnam New Time

There are lots of tasty Chinese restaurants nearby, but the 70,000 won I paid felt wasted. I booked a three-person ondol room, and cigarette smoke was strong throughout it. The hallway reeked too. It was hot, but I couldn't use the air conditioner because the smell, whether cigarette smoke or mold, was so strong. I highly recommend this place.

It's in an older building on the Chinese food street near the station, among places serving lamb ribs and other dishes. The accommodation isn't especially tidy, but it's well maintained and good value. I worried it might be noisy, but it wasn't, and the area was handy for eating late into the night.

This place is just a bit of trash. They're charging close to 1 million won for this kind of monthly rent, then taking one extra day on the 31st of April and claiming it's the 30th! How greedy. I wonder how much more they'll charge in February.

It's very cheap, but I really only recommend it as a place to sleep.
