Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Times Square

Being directly connected to Times Square Mall was a big plus, with lots of shops and places to eat just downstairs. The subway and airport shuttle were close too, so getting in and out of Seoul was easy. The staff were friendly, kind, and professional. I accidentally checked out after the checkout time, and they handled it graciously without charging a penalty. That hospitality stood out. The rooms were comfortable, the service was excellent, and I’d definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

I was disappointed by the club lounge. It’s on a high floor with a pleasant view and comfortable seating, but the food and drinks were underwhelming: canned drinks, some juice, and light snacks, with no breakfast, evening cocktail hour, or substantial food. For a hotel of this standard, lounge access feels limited and may not be worth upgrading for by itself. The rooms were spacious by Seoul standards, comfortable for a short or longer stay, and thoughtfully arranged. The hotel is modern and well furnished. I liked the in-room water filtration system for easy refills and less plastic bottle use. The bathroom also had a Japanese-style toilet with a heated seat and integrated bidet. Its location in Yeongdeungpo made the stay largely enjoyable. The hotel connects directly to Times Square Seoul for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Exit the elevator at B1 and Olive Young is right there for last-minute skincare or travel essentials. You can walk through the underground mall to Yeongdeungpo Station and its train and subway lines. In the other direction, a somewhat longer underground walk gets you to Yeongdeungpo Market Station, with more transit options. Getting around for sightseeing or business was very easy. It’s a good choice if location, convenience, and comfortable rooms matter, though keep lounge expectations modest.

Weekend breakfast was quite crowded, and we had to wait a bit for a table, so allow time if you’re in a hurry. The staff were welcoming and helpful, though. Betty especially stood out for her cheerful manner and for going the extra mile. She always greeted guests warmly. The lift lobby connects straight to the mall at B1, with Olive Young right by the lift. I loved being able to shop, drop things in my room, and head straight back out. Times Square Mall has plenty of places to shop and eat, with Shinsegae Department Store inside and Lotte Department Store across the street. If you’re shopping at Shinsegae, go to Level 6 with your passport to get a membership card before shopping. It gives you a 5% discount. The hotel is right next to Times Square Mall, which made the shopping especially convenient. It’s a great hotel, and I’d consider staying again.

Getting around Seoul was easy since the hotel connects to the subway and Shinsegae. There’s an E-Mart in the same complex for groceries and everyday essentials. You can also reach Times Square directly through the B1 lift, which is handy in winter when you don’t want to go outside or carry heavy jackets. My room was clean, quiet, and big enough for two large suitcases. Breakfast had a decent selection and was good. The only thing for me was that the pillows were a little too soft.
