CS Premier Hotel Seoul

The room was warm, and the bed was soft with two pillow options, but there was so much dust coming off the bedding that the air felt stuffy. We couldn't air the room out, so an air purifier would have helped. The sauna was also a letdown. Both the hot and cold pools had debris in them, so we couldn't use either and ended up showering after a few trips to the dry sauna. We'd booked the Beer Package with one-hour late checkout, but nobody mentioned the beer at check-in and it wasn't in the fridge. I only remembered later and had to ask at reception before they brought it out. The complimentary noodles at 8:34 PM were barely available, apparently because they were short on broth, even though there were still plenty of noodles in the bowl. The worst part happened on checkout day. Checkout was at 1 PM, and after brunch nearby I was back in the room while my husband went downstairs for the car. I was in the bathroom when I heard a quiet knock, then the door opening. A man and a woman came in and asked why I hadn't checked out. It seems staff weren't communicating. What if I'd been in the shower? At reception they apologized and said they'd warn the staff, then offered a Rooftop Robot Cafe coupon and breakfast on a future stay. That felt like a joke. They said a manager would contact me, but I never heard anything. We'd booked toward the end of the holiday weekend hoping to enjoy the sauna and get some rest. It was my first stay at Anuk Hotel, and I came away disappointed in a lot of ways.

The staff made a strong impression on me, patiently answering questions and being really friendly. The room was tidy, stylish, and comfortable, and I slept well in the bed. Nearby restaurants and convenience stores made it easy to get around and find meals. I stayed here on my Seoul trip and found it relaxing, with good value for the money. I'd stay again next time I'm in Seoul. I also filmed the hotel and plan to share the video on my social media.
