The fridge in our room didn't work, and the Wi-Fi was no use either. I tried the QR code the lady at the front desk gave me, but it said the password was wrong. She then said there wasn't a password, which clearly didn't match what I was seeing, and suggested iptime. That didn't work during the day, either. My husband and I had booked two days, but an older male staff member seemed annoyed that he was still there on day two. It left us confused and uncomfortable. He later said he'd misunderstood, but I wish he'd checked first. The staff weren't outright rude, but asking simple things like about Wi-Fi or for two extra towels made me feel as if I was doing something wrong.

The location is the one real plus here, it's prime. The service was really bad: communication was difficult, and the owner's attitude toward foreigners was terrible. You can't eat at the hotel, and rooms aren't cleaned unless you ask. When I did ask, the response was rude, and they don't seem to know how to smile either 😁. Maybe you'll get a room that isn't dark or smoky smelling, if you're lucky. For one or two nights the price might be okay, since you get what you pay for, but for a longer stay I'd look at other places nearby.

This is a MOTEL, not a hotel, and eating in your room isn't allowed. Plenty of other motels are clean and maintained well, so only stay here if you have no other option.

The facilities were good, but the room cleanliness needs work and there was no bidet.

There are 24-hour restaurants around the hotel, and getting to Myeongdong or Gangnam-gu by taxi is usually around 10,000-20,000W, which is great. The Korean-style bath shower works fine, too. Cleaning isn't provided as a rule, and I was worried there wouldn't be towels, but the receptionist can help if you ask. The staff were kind enough to give me water. If you're okay with the cleaning and towel situation, it's no problem. I had a really great stay!
