Hwagok XYM Hotel

The room was tiny, and today’s Saturday rate was 65,000 won. I got the room on February 15th, and 20 minutes later noticed there wasn’t even a bottle of water in the refrigerator. When I asked at the front desk, they told me it was self-service. I went downstairs and nearly swore at you, but held back.

It’s clean, and they give you a surprising amount of snacks, just so you know. It’s not bad. When you’re there with your significant other, what place could really be bad?

It’s in a remote area, but the price is reasonable and the hygiene was fairly good. The bedding was a bit thin, and the sheets had plastic on them, which made them uncomfortable.

The bed hadn’t been made properly. I was hot and lying there, then got so itchy that I checked under the blanket and found hair. It was really bad.
