I booked Hotel F for my brother-in-law, who was visiting from the States, because it's near my home and had good reviews. The room was large and impressive, with plenty of supplies, a big flat-screen TV, a comfortable couch, and a spacious bathroom with separate tub and shower. But when we walked in, the cigarette smell was unbearable. The front desk acted surprised, though there was an ashtray on the coffee table. They moved us to another room, but I was disappointed that nobody apologized. We could hear parties next door, so there's little noise isolation, and check-in was very late, at 9 PM. If you stay, ask firmly for a non-smoking room and bring earplugs. It has potential, but those flaws are glaring. I won't recommend it to future guests.

I loved being just a few minutes from the train station, and the receptionists were nice. Still, I've never before paid for two hotel nights and then had to check out each day, leave our luggage at reception, and wait until the 9 PM check-in again. Maybe that's how hotels in Korea work, but it was really inconvenient at this hotel.

For my business trip, I got a spacious, luxurious room and had a great rest. There were a few spots that hadn't been cleaned, though, and a slight smell. I assume the quick turnover has something to do with it, but I hope they improve that.

A two-story hotel, handy for a short stay.
