Lotte Hotel World

For our three-night stay, we barely had to deal with the usual travel hassles. Dining, shopping, transit and entertainment were right outside, and we didn't need to worry about rain, bad weather or long commutes. The service was efficient, polite and attentive from check-in through checkout. Lotte Hotel World is especially convenient if you're in Seoul for a vacation. It connects directly to Jamsil station on Lines 2 and 8, and you can walk indoors to both Lotte Department Store and Lotte World Mall. Lotte World Adventure's indoor entrance is right there too, handy if you want to return to your room for a midday break. The rooms were clean, modern and well kept, with great views of either Seokchon Lake or Lotte World Tower. There was also a 7-Eleven inside, useful for breakfast basics, late-night snacks and local drinks at regular convenience store prices. The restaurants were reasonably priced for their quality and service. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Junior Suite with our two young children, and it worked perfectly for a family. The bunk bed was a lovely extra, and both the living space and bathroom were comfortable and spacious. It's very convenient to have direct access to Lotte World and the mall, with lots of places to eat nearby. The service was excellent throughout, and the airport bus stops right in front. Highly recommend for families.

The location is fantastic, with the green and hot pink lines nearby and just a couple of stops from the bus terminal. It's probably one of the best places to get around from. But housekeeping was extremely late. Don't expect to get back to your room before 3pm. The team seemed to be doing its best, but short on staff, and my room still wasn't ready by 3. The fitness center is in a very odd, faraway spot, and you can only use it once a day. If you're traveling alone without kids, I'd consider Sofitel. It's more expensive but much better. I've stayed at two hotels this year, and Sofitel wins hands down.

I was meant to visit your hotel with my children. We booked last October through Al Areej Travel agency, but my grandmother became seriously ill and passed away soon afterward. It was a very hard time for our family. I told the agency right away, and they said they'd contacted the hotel. We were grateful to hear that the booking could be postponed with your understanding. I still haven't received official confirmation of the new booking, though. The agency says it's waiting to hear back from the hotel, and without confirmation I can't book our flights. This trip means a lot to me and my children after everything we've been through. I hope someone at the hotel can help confirm it. Thank you for understanding, and I hope to hear from you soon.
