The pool, sauna, and gym were a real plus, and the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. I’ve stayed at Conrad up the road about three times, and this was my second stay here. They’re around the same price, but here I get an apartment rather than just a bedroom, so I don’t feel like I have to spend my whole stay in one room. Conrad has a better breakfast, a connection to the mall, and fancier surroundings, but I prefer this place for the reasons above. It’s a little dated and worn, but the size feels right. The lobby is smaller and cozier, so walking through it doesn’t feel like passing through a train station. It feels more like an apartment than a hotel, which suits me.

We really enjoyed the sauna. The facility is huge, and we looked forward to a relaxing hot bath every night. The staff were great too, explaining how to use the air conditioner and communicating with us easily. Breakfast was pretty good. The price felt reasonable for a living room and two bedrooms. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby in the financial district, and Costco Yangpyeong is less than 3 km away if you need to stock up. We love this hotel and would highly recommend it to families visiting the area.

Honestly, the breakfast was okay for the price, and the staff seemed very friendly and helpful. But after a one-night stay, I wouldn’t call this a hotel. I asked for a high-floor room and got the lowest one. In the morning, highway noise nearby woke me up, and it was hard to avoid. The room needed maintenance, the facilities felt very old, and the toilet seat didn’t work. The air conditioner seemed affected somehow, and I woke up overheated even though it was set to 18F. I’m also unsure about the overall hygiene. As other reviews mention, it can be hard to find someone when you need help. Five stars? You’ve got to be kidding. I regret having to say this, but lower your expectations if you stay here.

The rooms are huge, with a full kitchen and a washer and dryer, and as a platinum elite Marriott member we received a complimentary upgrade. After our many outings in Seoul, we also found countless gifts left in our room. The entire staff speaks English and went above and beyond to help our family. Thank you to Eddie and the whole front desk team for making Korea feel magical for us, especially our little daughter. We’re American, and for non Koreans, Marriott Executive Apartments in Yeouido is by far the best place to stay. We’ll definitely come back here on our next trip to Korea!

What a wonderful hotel. It’s a three-bedroom suite, with plenty of room for everyone.
