Shilla Stay Guro

Dear Shilla Stay Guro Management Team, During my recent stay, Mr. Tyler Song, the manager at Shilla Stay Guro, gave me outstanding service. I stayed in Room 806 from 27 January to 5 February, then again from 6 February to 7 February, staying in that same room throughout, including a short one-night trip to Busan. Before arriving, I had a hard time changing my air ticket and extending my hotel stay from Singapore. I sent several emails but couldn’t get it sorted, and I arrived in Seoul stressed and disappointed. Meeting Mr. Tyler Song changed the whole experience. He listened patiently, showed real empathy, and dealt with it efficiently and professionally. His calm manner, warm smile, and understanding turned me from an unhappy guest into a very satisfied one. The next day, I also received a warm arrival anniversary gift from the hotel. I rarely meet a manager in Seoul who listens, understands, and acts to make sure guests are satisfied. I saw him again on the morning I checked out, still smiling and attentive. That alone showed how much he cares. Thanks to Tyler, I left with a big smile and a very positive memory, and he won back my trust and loyalty to Shilla Stay. I’ll definitely return. He’s a valuable leader and deserves recognition, rewards, or consideration for advancement. He’s a real asset to the hotel, and I’m grateful to have had such an exceptional manager on the team. The hotel was clean, reception was friendly, and breakfast was excellent. We were there as a couple and really enjoyed the stay. Line 2 is nearby for getting around, though the neighborhood feels more local. There’s plenty to eat and drink around here, without the queues you find in other areas. The hotel is starting to look a little run down, but it didn’t really bother us.

The hotel’s outside the central area, but that wasn’t a problem for me. Line 2 is a five-minute walk away and connects to everywhere. I’m on my final night of an 11-night stay, and the rooms have been good for the price. The staff and service are what make the place, they’ve been helpful and professional. Definitely recommend.

Ella was especially kind and explained everything clearly, and the reception team were among the best I’ve had. The rooms are small but comfortable, and the service is excellent.
