Signiel Seoul

The gym was a real surprise: spacious, spotless, and fitted with high-end Technogym machines that made it good for an actual workout. My room was just as clean, with lovely Frette bedding and a Dyson hairdryer. I’d been deciding between Four Seasons and Signel, and I’m glad I picked Signel Seoul. The staff were polished but sincerely kind, and handled everything from check-in to housekeeping and small requests smoothly. The whole place felt calm and carefully maintained. I’d happily stay again.

The Deluxe Suite on the 87th floor had a beautiful river view. Seeing it frozen in winter from up there felt almost unreal. Inside, the suite was spacious, with soft pastel colors, cherry blossom details, and separate living, dining, and work areas that made it feel private and comfortable. SIGNIEL Seoul occupies the upper floors of Lotte World Tower, a 123 story, 555 metre landmark and the world's sixth tallest building. The 76th floor sky lobby, with its dramatic architecture and sweeping staircase, opens onto panoramic city views. Breakfast was at STAY, Modern Restaurant, and the guest lounge on the 76th floor served daily refreshments and held an evening cocktail hour with champagne and canapés. The gym, pool, and sauna are on the 85th floor. This was my second stay with the SIGNIEL brand after SIGNIEL Busan, which was just as stunning. SIGNIEL Seoul is a two Michelin Key hotel, the highest recognition in South Korea, and belongs to Leading Hotels of the World. The service was impeccable, and it feels designed to impress at every level.

On our last night, I booked extra rooms for my mother and sisters. The hotel upgraded a room and added thoughtful touches, which made their stay feel especially lovely and gave our trip a perfect ending. During my six days at SIGNIEL SEOUL, the staff were consistently kind and attentive to details. The Chief Manager’s care and professionalism stood out. We also had lunch at BICENA, the hotel's 1-star Michelin restaurant, which I highly recommend to anyone staying here. Every part of the stay was handled so gracefully that it felt like a curated luxury experience. Between the views and the sincere service, I’m deeply grateful for the memories we made.

The daily lounge spread included sparkling wine, champagne, and hors d’oeuvres, and the staff were warm and helpful, even taking photos for me. Breakfast was extensive and delicious, and the underground link to Lotte World Mall made getting around easy. My suite was immaculate, with incredible views, and the personalized service stayed consistent throughout. Roy was especially great at making sure I was comfortable, informed, and enjoying my stay. Turndown often came with hot tea and macarons, and the room service food was delightful. I loved the marble bathroom, soaking tub, and the bath teas and salts. SIGNIEL Seoul made me feel very well looked after. I’d recommend it and hope to return.
