The Wi-Fi password looked like it had been scribbled over with marker, and Netflix would freeze in under ten minutes, so I gave up and watched regular TV instead. When I tried to ask the front desk about it, they cut me off before I’d finished and said they didn’t know, telling me to contact customer service. Maybe it was my fault for trying the Wi-Fi in the middle of the night, but that attitude was so irritable it pushed me to write a review. I’ve never bothered reviewing the trashy motels I’ve stayed at elsewhere.

The elevator looked newly remodeled and was clean and nice. I found this place while searching for somewhere near Yeongdeungpo Station, and it’s about five minutes away on foot if you walk fast. It sits down a narrow alley between Neokttakjip and Meoktong Nakji, so I nearly walked past while wondering if I had the right spot. The route to the accommodation could feel a bit scary for a woman traveling alone.
