The sea view is wonderful, and I’m very happy with what I paid. The room was big, clean, and spacious. When you open the door, the curtains open automatically, which feels like a little welcome.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing for 30,000 won. It was more like snack bar food, and the kitchen didn’t even have a coffee machine or instant coffee sticks. The suite works well for up to four people, since it has two bathrooms. I also liked the large window looking out over Lake Sihwa. With so few guests around, I hardly saw anyone in the halls or elevators, and noise between rooms or floors was almost nonexistent. There’s a small unmanned convenience store by the fifth-floor lounge, which is handy for toiletries, instant noodles, and snacks.

Turtle Island is right by the sea, with the ocean just in front of you and a lovely view all around. The coastal walking path is clean and well kept, and it’s a fantastic place for a walk.

I’d come back for a relaxing break or staycation. There isn’t much infrastructure or many attractions nearby, but it suits you if you’re mainly looking for somewhere to unwind.
