Benikea Hotel Mountain & Ocean Sokcho

Great views, good food, and lovely people 😁

The rooms don't really feel like hotel rooms, maybe because this place was converted from a condominium. Still, for the location and the view, I think it's worth the price.

For an ocean-view stay, this condo-style unit would work well for a group. It's spacious and kept in decent shape, although the facilities feel a bit dated. The view is so spectacular that I don't mind the convenience store being a little farther away. I stayed in December 2023, just outside the busy season, and thought the price was somewhat high, which was disappointing.

The balcony has lovely views of the ocean and sunrise, and Daepo Port is an easy 10-minute walk away. The location is handy for both the Seoraksan Mountain entrance and the port. The rooms are worn and old, but the bedding is clean. There aren't any amenities in the condo.
