Having a billiards table and a barbecue area gave us something to do, and the little kitchen was handy if we wanted to make food. The bed was comfortable, and the place felt restful for a short getaway. It’s also easy to get around on foot: Sokcho Beach is nearby, and there are several restaurants and convenience stores close by, including Coral 17, a Thai place, an ice cream parlour, and a pasta and pizza restaurant across the street. Staff were friendly, and there’s parking directly below the pension. The only small drawbacks were a problem with the sink pipe and a noisy toilet.
