Seorak Hot Spring Mammoth Resotel

My favorite place to stay so far on my travels. They’re welcoming and the service is amazing. The rooms were clean and nice, and all the hot water in the hotel comes from hot springs. Breakfast, tea, coffee, espresso, and cup noodles were all free. I’ll definitely stay here again!

The hospitality from the guests and staff was great, and the room was clean with nice shower and bath facilities. I really missed being able to cook my own egg and make toast, so the free breakfast was a treat. I had energy for the whole day, which I needed with Seoroksan mountain and its beautiful hikes so close by. Hot spring water, free noodles, too. I honestly don’t know how they offer all this for so little money. What a lovely little gem for an overnight stay.

We wanted somewhere close enough to Seoraksan national park to walk, and chose this hotel because its rooms looked the cleanest and most up to date. We had a very nice stay. The friendly staff were helpful despite the language barrier and even did our laundry. Breakfast was basic, but we liked the Jeju tangerine juice. Nearby, many businesses are closed and the town looks a little run down. Still, a fancy pedestrian walkway takes you to a nice GS 25 convenience store where we found everything we wanted. The hotel is conveniently on the 7 bus line too, so you can take the bus to the park instead of walking the 2 miles. We’d recommend it to couples and families looking to stay close to the park or get good value. For a fancy luxury hotel, there aren’t really options near the park, so stay in Sokcho and take a bus or taxi.

The room was spacious, with a big shower and a comfortable bed. They let us check in super early and kept our bags in the lobby after checkout. Breakfast was included, simple but nice, and there’s a good coffee machine plus free ramen and drinks in the lobby. A lot for the money.
