After cycling around Korea, I spent a few days here to unwind, and it was a comfortable place to finish my trip. The hotel is a little old, but very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. My room was large, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom had a great shower with plenty of hot water. There was also a small kitchen with electric hobs and a fridge, which came in handy. From the balcony, I could see beautiful mountains when it wasn't raining! The location worked well for getting to the key places: Seoraksan National Park is only 10 minutes away and has lots of beautiful hiking trails, and nice restaurants and cafes are just a short walk away. For the price, I really can't recommend it enough.

The resort is very close to Seoraksan, and there's a small supermarket open 24 hours. Our unit was huge for three people, with a master bedroom, an additional room, a kitchen, and one bathroom. Service was okay. At night, the corridor leading to the rooms didn't have much lighting.

We nearly froze because they never switched on the heating. The room smelled awful and clearly hadn't been cleaned before we arrived. There was rubbish in the closets and drawers. When we asked reception for another room, they said they were all full, even though it looked like only 10% were occupied. Service was terrible, almost nonexistent. The listing gives the impression there's a pc bang, but there isn't one. Spend a little more and stay somewhere better.
