The rooms are budget-friendly, and there's a pleasant backyard with tables where you can barbecue your own food.

The towels smelled awful, though I couldn't tell what detergent they used. There was no water or towels in the room after check-in, so I had to go downstairs to get them. The mobile app "Yeogi XX" showed a different price, and when I tried to pay since it was late and finding another place seemed difficult, they tried to steer me toward paying cash. I wouldn't recommend it.

The daytime visit to Seorak Mountain was nice, but I wouldn't suggest staying here. The accommodation, which a travel agency had assigned, was a bleak complex of closed-down places that all seemed to be resort hotels. It was a guesthouse, with tiny rooms and stained futons that smelled of cigarette smoke. The whole night was miserable.

The place is pretty worn down. I had to use broken Korean and point to pictures online just to get sheets. Still, it was very cheap and only a few steps from the park.

The blankets smelled, and cockroaches were crawling around the room. It clearly hadn't been maintained properly.
