The room was clean, and the hotel looks freshly restored. The rooms have a boat-like feel. For the price, it’s fair, and the older comments don’t seem relevant anymore.

My wife and I had a great trip, but we barely slept because the basement karaoke room’s woofer kept thumping until 3:30 AM. I booked the most expensive first-floor room with a bathtub, so I’m writing this at 3:31 AM after paying a lot for it. I don’t know what it’s like on the second floor and up, but seriously, don’t take a first-floor room. At 4:25 AM I went to the karaoke room and spoke with the owner. They said it stays open until 5 AM. I don’t think we’ll be able to sleep until it opens.

No elevator. Remodeled and clean as of January 2026.

After the remodel, it’s clean and feels very different from before.

The towels and air conditioner were old, and the lighting was dim. When I asked for an extra towel in the morning, the reply was, “How can you give me an extra towel?” I was surprised.
