Suncheon Sopung

The owners are a really kind couple, and the room was spacious, clean, and brightly lit. It seems suitable for families or business trips. It has a stylus, air purifier, fridge, and microwave, with very fast internet, and you can use a computer on a large screen. They usually provide breakfast, but because of COVID-19 they offered cup rice instead, which I was happy with. There's also a pool table and a small shop on the first floor, both handy to use.

I was walking the Namparang Trail and ended up staying three nights. The room was spacious and clean, with a stylus, microwave, air purifier, and even a massage chair. The owners were so kind and provided cup rice too.

I chose this place after seeing it on Yeogi Eottae. The exterior and interior facilities looked about as expected. I started in room 205, where the sewer smell was awful. I called the front desk three times without an answer, then went down to talk to the owner. They insisted that couldn't be right and asked, "What is this motel's rating?" They wasted my time, then came up to check and blamed the previous guests. In the end they admitted there was a smell and moved me to room 305, but its door wouldn't open properly. I couldn't be bothered to ask for a refund, so I stayed. A one-star rating is too generous. When there's a problem, they should acknowledge it and act quickly, but the owner seemed full of themself. I'll never return, and I won't trust Yeogi Eottae again. When I checked, the rating was 9.9, out of 100, I think?

It's an average place to stay, but be aware there are absolutely no restaurants or amenities nearby.
