Brown Dot Hotel Suwon

A solid budget hotel, the best.

Dragging a suitcase around Suwon was a struggle because the roads aren't in great shape. A backpack might be easier if you're visiting. The room itself was spacious and comfortable for the price, and the central location made it easy to get around, with a convenience store nearby. The computer shut down more often than I expected, which was a hassle. There was also a landline but no instructions for using it, so I had to look it up on Naver and call the front desk. I'm still not sure what the phone was for. Even with those issues, I was satisfied with what I paid.

Parking can be tricky, though they do have valet service. I really liked staying here recently and had a good night's rest. The place was quiet, the staff provided great service, and they even upgraded my room. It was spacious and clean, and all the rooms are genuinely non-smoking. I wouldn't count on breakfast being very good, so I'd recommend this place if you don't need breakfast. When I'm back in Suwon, I'd choose this hotel again.
