Dono 1796 Hotel Suwon

The location is great, but I wouldn't stay again. While searching for my painkillers, I found a thick layer of dust under the fridge, which seems like a serious health hazard. I told the woman at reception, but she barely reacted. The room was otherwise okay, though still had that ridiculous amount of dust. Breakfast was dark and gloomy, and the woman serving it sat on her phone and wasn't welcoming. There also wasn't enough information about the dishes, which made it difficult for me as a vegetarian.

We chose a larger room with a veranda, and the fortress view made it a good choice. It's a big hotel in a convenient location, and breakfast was very good, with plenty to choose from.

A few nights ago, I stayed here during my motorcycle tour around Korea. The room was very comfortable for the reasonable price, and the massage chair was just right for relaxing after a long day riding. It's close to the fort and not too far from the mural art.

The room was otherwise fine, but there was some leaking by the window. I can't say for sure, but it might have been from the air conditioner tubing. On level 1, the convenience shop has only a self-service counter in Korean, which isn't very convenient for foreign visitors.
