E Hotel

For the price, I was very satisfied. The place was clean, fairly spacious, and had decent amenities, including a charger, which I appreciated. The motel is on the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors of a commercial building. Parking is on basement level 2, and you take the elevator down after getting into your car.

The place was similar to what I expected. It’s close to a university, so the area was busy with people and cars. I couldn’t spot the motel at first, then realized it occupies floors 5, 6, and 7. Finding parking took three loops around the area. It was an elevator-style lot with an attendant. No one answered the phone, so I went in myself and parked.

There was no heating, and the room had no window. The bed sheets, blanket, and pillows were yellowed and stained in spots, as though they hadn’t been changed. The facilities were awful. As soon as I walked in, I wanted to leave. There’s a reason it’s cheap.

I’d been coming here for over a year, and it used to be great. I expected a remodel as a regular, but all they seem to have done is put up wallpaper. The showerhead sprays in two directions, and when I shower it sticks to the wall, so water doesn’t splash into the toilet. Hahaha. The male owner at the counter was incredibly rude when he came out. When I tried to use my points, he kept arguing and asking whether I’d even earned any. I also found a cigarette butt under the bed. He insisted the motel had cleaned it up, but I was the one who put it there. I’ve put up with this three times, and I’m sure I won’t return. The cleanliness is poor and the staff are unfriendly. One room has a broken remote. After a year, I know which one it is, the room on the 7th floor :). I told him, but he wouldn’t change it.
