Haeden Hotel High End Suwon

I was glad I booked here. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were both friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was a nice surprise. The location and price worked well for what I needed. The hotel is now called Haeden Hotel High-end Suwon.

The service, including the cleaning and drying, was great. Still, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who isn't "original Korean" because of what felt like racism, especially from the receptionist named J*n C*u. I really disliked the way he treated me and my Vietnamese friend while we were trying to pay. If you're Korean, you'll probably be fine, but if you're not, you might want to try somewhere else first.

The only thing I liked was the convenience store on site, which stays open 24 hours. The walls were so thin that I could hear what people next door were saying, and I had to call the front desk to ask them to keep it down. The interior also looked unfinished, with exposed wires and bare concrete walls, despite the claim that it opened three years ago. You get what you pay for here. Unless you only want a cheap "hotel" and don't care about anything else, stay away. I mean it.

My company booked this for a five day business trip. Otherwise, I wouldn't have stayed even one night at this miserable hotel. Everything felt cheap, from the furniture and bedding to the bathroom and toiletries. During all five nights they didn't even replace the soap or small shampoo. There was no minibar, restaurant, cafeteria, or room service. A small restaurant served breakfast only, with very cheap quality and little variety. The reception staff were very polite and tried to help when they understood what I needed, but the stay was unpleasant. I won't come back.
