Suwon Hound Hotel

It was clean and handy for Suwon Station, but the ventilation kept bringing in a cigarette smell, even with the windows shut.

All three rooms we booked were in a filthy, poorly maintained state, so this felt like a management problem, not just a one-off issue. There were several unknown liquid marks on the pillows, sheets, chairs, and tables, with what looked like mold in some places. The rooms seemed clearly neglected, not merely old. We were meant to check in at 8 PM and got there at 7:30, but couldn't get into a room until 10:30. We waited for hours without anyone explaining what was going on. After seeing the condition, we asked to cancel and get our money back. The hotel kept saying, "Cancellation is not possible," and offered no other option or solution. This stay was extremely disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who cares about hygiene and basic service.

Parking was ample, and the central location made it easy to get to restaurants and convenience stores. I was on a business trip and booked a business room. It had plenty of space and everything I needed, and I suspect the other rooms are similar in quality. I've stayed at a few places near Suwon Station, and Hound Hotel seems like the best of them. It's a new building, a step up from the older motels nearby, and there was no cigarette smoke, which I really appreciated. I stayed somewhere else the day before and wish I'd come here sooner. If I'm back around Suwon Station, I'll definitely stay at Hound Hotel again.

There was hair all over the bed, and the toilet hadn't been cleaned well. It made the stay uncomfortable, and I wouldn't come back.
